Alex Alma

Alex's connection to the outdoors was shaped by his childhood experiences on Wisconsin's rivers and trails. Following his passions, he spent his early years managing natural resources and recreation as a lifeguard, park ranger, and aquatic invasive species coordinator in Wisconsin, Colorado, Idaho, and Minnesota. He recently worked in the Executive Director’s Office of the Colorado Department of Natural Resources, advancing recreation, policy and programming initiatives former Governor John Hickenlooper and current Governor Jared Polis. Nowadays, he splits his time between recreation consulting and going on weekday adventures with his children. His favorite activities include bicycle commuting, mountain biking, hiking, swimming, canoeing, motorcycle riding, cross country skiing, gardening, and cooking.
