Sam is the Field Logistics Coordinator for Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado (VOC), joining the staff in 2024. Sam works in collaboration with the VOC team to help oversee and organize the logistics operations for VOC's projects, including trainings and programmatic stewardship opportunities. He also manages and maintains the VOC Operations Center and vehicle fleet.

Sam has lived in Colorado throughout his life and has developed a deep passion for the western region's natural resources and their beauty. His work prior to joining VOC had been focused on youth development and outdoor leadership, and he is currently continuing his education in Forestry and Natural Resources.

Sam now lives in Denver with his partner and two dogs and frequently takes the dogs out for runs on the city's extensive trails and greenways.
