Katie Goodleaf is the Partnership Office Program Manager for Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado (VOC). The position manages VOC’s efforts to continue building public land stewardship capacity through partnership and volunteers, providing partnership management and coordination for public lands within the San Luis Valley. Katie’s enthusiasm for the VOC community and her passion for getting volunteers excited about experiencing nature and being good stewards of our resources will help continue to grow and foster VOC’s successful program in the SLV.

After graduating from Quinnipiac University in 2011 with a degree in Political Science, her love of the outdoors drew her to Colorado where she began her work in environmental stewardship. Prior to joining VOC in March 2021, Katie worked in natural resources since 2012 with organizations such as AmeriCorps, Colorado Parks & Wildlife, and even as a seasonal VOC Project Manager in 2017.

Outside of work, Katie enjoys exploring new hiking trails, attempting to fly fish, snowshoeing, practicing her golf skills, and quiet nights in cross stitching with her beloved cat, Baby Chi.
