Kim is the Director of Marketing and Communications for Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado (VOC). She is responsible for overseeing the organization’s marketing and outreach strategy, developing and implementing integrated campaigns, and leading the overall brand identity. She collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to maximize the impact of VOC’s programs and events through consistent messaging and promotion.

Prior to joining VOC in May of 2023, Kim was an environmental educator for The Greenway Foundation, led marketing and design for a CPG start-up, and served an AmeriCorps term with Colorado Youth for a Change. Kim’s experience at nonprofits and start-ups has shaped her into an intuitive and creative problem solver and she is thrilled to be using her expertise to spread VOC’s mission. She holds a BFA in Communication Design from Washington University in St. Louis.

Her passions center around staying active and exploring natural spaces, making (and eating) good food, and playing with all kinds of creative media (paint, clay, cake…). She always has homemade cookie dough in her freezer waiting to be baked at a moment’s notice.
