MAKE A GIFT OF STOCK

Many people choose to support Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado (VOC) through a gift of stock.

Follow the instructions below to make a gift of stock to VOC.

Outright Gift of Stock

For outright gifts of publicly traded stock, please follow these instructions for making the transfer of shares to Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado. Please contact  development@voc.org  with any questions.

When the stock is held at your broker:

Please email development@voc.org for account details.



You must contact us to be credited for your donation!  Your broker is not permitted to share your name with us, and we would love to be able to thank you for your gift! When making a gift of stock, please email us at  development@voc.org  with the name of the stock, the number of shares you are donating, the date that the instructions were given to the broker, and your gift instructions (account, uses, etc.).

We will issue a gift receipt for the mean price of the shares on the date they are received in VOC’s account.

When the stock is registered in your name:

• Copy the back of the certificate(s).
• Sign the copy of the certificate back only, leaving all other information blank.
• Mail the certificates in one envelope to:

• Mail the signed copy of the certificate back to VOC in a separate envelope. Include your gift instructions (accounts, uses, etc.). We will issue a gift receipt for the mean price of the shares on the date that your letters were postmarked.
