PARTNER WITH VOC ON YOUR PROJECT

Thank you for your interest in working with VOC! We are excited about the potential to work with your agency, organization, or group. 2024 will be VOC's 40th anniversary as an organization and we are excited to host a special slate of projects to reflect the incredible work we have accomplished since 1984.

Each year, VOC manages thousands of volunteers in a variety of outdoor projects across the state, spanning both front and backcountry settings, and urban areas. VOC can help your organization engage the public in addressing stewardship projects related to:

  • Building and maintaining trails
  • Recreational infrastructure development and maintenance
  • Improving accessibility for parks and trails
  • Seeding, planting, and erosion control tasks
  • Fire restoration and mitigation
  • Community science and data collection
  • Flood restoration
  • Planting, maintaining, and harvesting urban food gardens and establishing pollinator gardens
  • Habitat restoration including noxious weed management and fence removal
  • Greening urban spaces
  • Crosscut and chainsaw crews
  • And more!

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. We ask that you submit your application as soon as possible and preferably, no later than September 15th to allow ample time for selection, scouting, and recruitment. If you are unable to submit by Sept. 15, please contact Vanessa Casas at 303-715-1010, ext. 129. Applicants with high-altitude projects are encouraged to submit as early as possible to allow for project scouting before winter conditions set in.
